Terminal Settings

Terminal Settings in Suprata enable users to configure printing preferences for Invoices, Job Tags, and Job Sheets by integrating with QZ Tray, a cross-platform application that facilitates direct printing from web applications to local printers. With QZ Tray, users can select printers, specify page sizes, and adjust margins to ensure professional and precise printed outputs. This setup allows businesses to streamline their printing workflows and maintain consistency across all materials, improving operational efficiency.

Prerequisites: Authorised Users.

Instructions

1. From the main Dashboard, click the dropdown menu next to the user profile picture in the top right corner.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Click Terminal Settings from the list to enter the Preferences (Terminal Settings) page.
   
   
   
   
   
   (Note: You will be required to allow Suprata to connect to your QZ Tray.)
   
   
   
   
3. You may tick the Enable Quickprint checkbox to allow for the quick and easy printing of job sheets and labels with a single click.
   
   
   
   
4. Once the permissions have been granted, you will see the following tabs, Invoices & Receipts, Job Tag, and Job Sheet. Clicking on any of these tabs will reveal the print settings for the selected category.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Within each tab, you can configure the following options:
   
   Select Printer: Choose the printer you want to use for the selected type of print job.
   
   Select Page Size: Specify the page size (e.g., A4, Letter) to ensure the printed document or label matches the required format.
   
   Set Margins (Top/Bottom and Left/Right): Adjust the margins in inches to ensure proper alignment of the content during printing.
