Chat Support

 

The Chat Support feature in Suprata provides users with a quick and convenient way to access assistance directly within the platform. Accessible via the blue speech bubble on any page, the Support Chat Widget allows users to start new conversations, change their display name, email chat transcripts, toggle notification sounds, or pop out the chat window for more space. Designed for flexibility and ease of use, this tool ensures that help is always readily available, streamlining the support process for all users.

 

 

Prerequisites: Authorised Users.

 

 

Instructions

 

 

  1. From anywhere within the Suprata platform, you can access support by clicking on the blue speech bubble in the bottom right corner.





  2. You will see the Support Chat Widget open.





  3. To start a new conversation, click the blue New Conversation button, then type your query in the text box at the bottom and hit Enter or the green Send button.





  4. You can also access additional functions by clicking on the hamburger menu (3 line) button in the top right:

    Change Name: Allows the user to edit the name displayed during the chat session.

    Email Transcript: Sends a copy of the chat transcript to the user's email for record-keeping or reference.

    Sound On/Off: Toggles the notification sound for incoming messages in the chat.

    Pop Out Widget: Opens the chat in a separate window, providing more screen space for conversation without being confined to the widget.

    Add Chat to Your Website: Provides the necessary information or tools to embed the chat widget on a user's website for customer interaction.
