Import Vendor Pricebook to Price List

The Import Vendor Pricebook to Price List tool provides an efficient way to create or update your price list using data from an existing vendor's pricebook. This feature ensures that your price list stays accurate and up-to-date with the latest product information and pricing from your vendors. Whether adding new items or updating existing ones, this tool streamlines the process while giving you control over how the import is handled. Flexible options allow you to manage deactivated items, preserve existing product images, and ensure only relevant data is merged into your system.

Prerequisites: Account owners and those with administrator access.

Instructions

1. From the Main Dashboard, click on the Administration tag.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. You will enter the Administration Dashboard.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Now click on the Inventory Settings tag to reveal the dropdown menu.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Click Price List, to enter the View Price List page.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Click the blue Import from Pricebook button above the Vendors table to enter the Import Vendor Pricebook to Price List page.
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. Select the vendor you wish to import from by clicking in the Please Select a Vendor's Pricebook to Merge field.
   
   
   
   
   
   
7. Tick/un-tick the desired checkboxes in the merge options list.
   (Note: By default “Propagate Deactivated Pricebook Items” and “Don’t Re-Cache Existing Images” will be checked.)
   
   
   
   
   
   

   ·       Propagate Deactivated Pricebook Items:

   Select this option to include items that are currently deactivated in the vendor’s pricebook.

   ·       Don’t Re-enable Deactivated Pricelist Items:

   Prevents previously deactivated items in your price list from being re-enabled during the merge process.

   ·       Override Excluded Pricelist Items:

   Allows the imported pricebook to override items in your pricelist that were marked as excluded.

   ·       Don’t Re-Cache Existing Images:

   Ensures that existing product images in your price list are not overwritten or re-cached during the import.
   
   
   
   

8. Click the green Begin Copy button. Please wait whilst the import process is performed. Once complete, you will see the confirmation Copy is Complete.
