Revenue Report

 

The Revenue Report provides an overview of revenue generated across various payment methods within a specified period. This report helps businesses track total gross revenue, refunds, and net revenue while providing detailed insights into the distribution of payments by method, such as credit cards, ACH transfers, and cash. Users can easily adjust reporting periods, search for specific data, and export the report for further analysis, making it a valuable tool for financial monitoring and planning.

 

 

Prerequisites: Authorised Users.

 

 

Instructions



  1. From the main Dashboard, click the Reporting tab.





  2. Click Revenue Report from the dropdown menu to enter the Revenue Report page.





  3. Here you can review the revenue data in the table. Key columns include:

    Date: The reporting month and year for each row, with a "Grand Total" row summarizing all periods.

    MC, VISA, AMEX, DISC, ACH, CHECK, CASH: These columns show the revenue received through various payment methods (e.g., MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, ACH transfers, checks, and cash) for the corresponding period.

    Gross: Reflects the total gross revenue for each period, summing all payment methods.

    Refunded: Displays the total amount refunded during the period.

    Net: Indicates the net revenue for the period after deducting any refunded amounts.


  4. To locate specific revenue data, use the Search field in the top-right corner. Enter keywords such as dates, amounts, or other relevant terms to quickly filter the results.



  5. Adjust the Reporting Period by selecting a start and end date in the date fields at the top of the page. Alternatively, use the Today, This Month, Year to Date, or All Time buttons to filter the records quickly.



  6. You can Copy, Print, and export to PDF, Excel and CSV by clicking on the blue buttons at the bottom of the page.
